- Why did I get error message "Delete File Failed: Code 5. Access is denied"?
This is because some program related processes are still running in the background when you reinstall an IObit program.
Please right click on the program icon in system tray and then select "Exit". Open your Task Manager and close all this program related processes running in the background. Then, reboot your computer to reinstall the program.

- Why didn't I receive the license code?
The possible reasons might be:
1. Due to your email settings, the email containing license code may go to your Spam folder directly. Please check it there.
2. You provided an invalid email address when you ordered the software.
3. Your email service provider rejects emails from unknown senders.If you still cannot find the email, please reach us through our Online Support and we will help you soon.
- License code is invalid?
The possible reasons might be:
1. You entered a wrong license code, e.g. when you enter the code F401D-ACA01-A84FF-5FDDA, you mistake 0(zero) for O(open).
2. You used a license for another program to register your desired program.So please make sure you entered the correct license code to activate the right program. It's better to COPY and PASTE your license code into the software activation field as sometimes typing leads to mistakes.
- I lost my license code. Can you help me?
If you purchase through Avangate, you can easily retrieve your license code here.
Otherwise, please provide us with your order reference or registered email address through our Online Support so that we can help you find it.
- Why is the downloaded file corrupted?
This problem is due to an uncompleted download of the program. It could be caused by the Internet speed or the download tools. To solve this issue, please kindly apply the following instructions:
1. Delete the corrupted file and clean your browser's cache.
2. Restart the browser.
3. Re-download the setup file again.
- Should I uninstall the old version of IObit software in order to install the new version?
You do not need to uninstall the older version before installing the new one. A new version can be installed on the top of the previous one. However, if you want to uninstall the previous version, please go through the steps below:
Click the Windows "Start" button
Click "All Programs"
Find IObit software and click it
Then click Uninstall.When you are prompted to confirm the removal of the program, click "Yes" to finish the removal process.
- Do I need to register to get the PRO version?
Yes, you need to manually register the program with the license you purchased. The license can be found in the email you received after you purchased the program.

- How do I renew my license code?
We always provide renewal discount to our customers. Customers can renew their license code here.
- How do I renew my license code with different quantity?

Advanced Mobile Care
- What are the system requirements for Advanced Mobile Care?
Advanced Mobile Care supports phone and tablet with Android 2.2 and up. However the Anti-theft feature doesn't work on most of Android tablets, because it uses SMS commands to communicate with the stolen or lost device.
At present, Advanced Mobile Care does not support other operating systems except for Android.
- Why should I install Advanced Mobile Care?
Advanced Mobile Care protects your phone from virus and helps you clean the cache and junk files.
It also has several tools which help you save battery, find back your lost phone, block unwanted calls, back up contacts, etc.
- How often does the virus database update?
At present we update the virus database along with the update of Advanced Mobile Care. You can check for updates manually with the steps below:
Run Advanced Mobile Care->tap the settings icon at the top right corner->tap the Check for Updates
- I have killed some tasks, but they are there when I run Task Killer again.
Some tasks will be reloaded by Android System after being killed. However, it is still recommended that you use Task Killer to kill tasks as it releases RAM and optimizes your device during the kill process.
- How can I back up my contacts? And where can I check the backed up information?
Please follow the instructions below to back up the contacts:
1. Load Advanced Mobile Care, tap the box icon to choose Cloud Backup
2. Tap the Sign up to register an account. (You can restore your data when your phone is lost or broken by logging in your account)
3. Tap “Backup” to back up your Contacts and Call Logs.All the records are safely backed up on IObit Could Server. At present users can not access IObit Could Server to check the backed up records. However, you can feel assured that your privacy will not be misused or revealed.
- I forgot the password of Privacy Locker. What can I do?
Please make sure to set a security question for Privacy Locker. With the security question, you can reset your password by the following steps:
Load Advanced Mobile Care-> Tap Privacy Locker->Tap Forgot Password->Answer the Security Question you have set->Tap “OK” to reset the password
- How can I use the function “Anti-theft”?
Anti-theft is a new feature of Advanced Mobile Care which can alarm, lock, or get the location of the lost phone.
Please follow the instructions below to set your Anti-theft:
Load Advanced Mobile Care ->Tap Anti-theft ->Tap the OFF button-> Check the detailed information in the pop-up window and then tap OK->Create a password for Anti-theft ->Then Anti-theft is turned on.When the phone is lost, please get another phone which has Advanced Mobile Care installed -> Go to Anti-theft ->Find lost phone panel ->Add the lost phone number and then choose to alarm, lock or get the location by entering the password for Anti-theft of the lost phone.
- What if I have forgotten the password of Anti-theft?

- Why Game Speeder does not recognize all the games installed on my device?
We are sorry that at present the algorithm of Game Speeder cannot detect all games. You can manually add the games by following the instructions below:
Load Advanced Mobile Care->Tap Game Speeder->Tap the icon at the top right corner->tap Add game->Select the games you want to add and tap Add button.
- Can Advanced Mobile Care help me block unwanted phone calls?
Advanced Mobile Care has a function Call Blocker which helps you block those phone calls you don’t want. Check this feature as steps below:
Load Advanced Mobile Care->Tap settings icon at the top right of the main screen->Tap Call BlockerThere are two ways to add phone number into Blacklist:
1. Tap Call Blacklist-> Tap the plus button on the top right to manually add the phone number you want to block.
2. When there is a missed call, you will get a popup which provides you with options to add into Blacklist, call back, ignore, or add to contacts.

If some unwanted registry related changes are made by ASC, please click on the Rescue icon to go to the rescue center, select one backup and then click "Undo Changes" button to restore those changes.
If some unwanted changes are made by Internet Boost, please click Rescue all Internet Boost changes link to restore those changes.
- How do I configure Turbo Boost?
Turbo Boost works by temporarily closing your unnecessary processes and services to increase physical memory and resources to enhance your computer performance for other serious work. Hence, it is necessary for you to configure your Turbo Boost before running it to keep the processes and services you need.
To configure your Turbo Boost:
Click "Turbo Boost" icon or "Configure" under the Turbo Boost icon
Select boost mode and click Next
Clear the box for the items you want to keep throughout the wizard to build your own Turbo Boost.
- How do I register my Advanced SystemCare PRO edition?

- How do I ignore the problem scanned out in the Registry Fix module?
Please click the item name "Registry Fix" after the scan is finished to check the scan result in detail Right click on the item you want to ignore
Select "Ignore"
- How to check the scan result in detail?
To check the scan result in detail, please click the item name under "Summary" after the scan is finished.
- Where can I find the repair logs after automatic or manual scan and repair?
There are two methods to find the repair logs.
You can find the logs by following the instructions below:
Load Advanced SystemCare -> select "Settings" under "More settings" icon on the right top of the main interface -> click Logs & Backup on the left-hand panel -> you can click the items under Saved Logs and then View Log button to view the logs directly.Or click Open Log Folder link to go to the saved log folder.
- How to check the last scan time?
In the Simplified/Expert Mode, please click on the expression icon or the words "PC Health" to view the last scan time and some other statistic.
- When scanning Malware Removal, kinds of malware are listed under the progress bar. Does that mean my computer has already been infected by those malware?
No. Please note that they are only our database information. When it scans, Advanced SystemCare compares those files in your computer with our database. If they match, your computer is infected. We will show the scan result as soon as the scan is finished, so please only refer to the scan result.

The yellow triangle indicates that not all the real-time protection guards are turned on. You need to turn on them all to get full protection. To enable all guards, you need to activate the PRO version. - How do I remove the thousands of threats in IObit Malware Fighter Cloud?
Please note that they are not threats found on your PC but only our database information. We called our database Cloud. We collect the data of current mainstream threats and then update the data to Cloud. If there is any threat on your PC, the result will be displayed in the scanning report. Please just refer to that report.
- How do I add items into the Ignore List of IObit Malware Fighter?
If there are any items which are suspected as False Positive or you want to keep in the scan result, you can right click on those items and then select "Add to Ignore". The items in Ignore List will not be scanned anymore. It's also recommended that you contact us through our Online Support to report the False Positive.
- How do I take advantage of Quarantine function of IObit Malware Fighter?
In case of any false positives, all the threats found out by IObit Malware Fighter will be removed to the Quarantine List when the option "Quarantine threats when removing them" is ticked. When there is a false positive, you can easily restore the quarantined file from the Quarantine List to its original location. You can also delete the infected file permanently from the computer by clicking Delete if it is not a false positive.
- How do I report False Positives?
Please follow the instructions below to report false positives:
First, after the scan, please click the "Save Report" button and send us the report through our Online Support.
Next, please send us the suspicious files zipped with password "infected". In the meantime, you can also upload the suspicious files to www.virustotal.com for analysis, and provide us with the analysis report links.
