Misleading:The program reports false or exaggerated system security threats on the computer.The user is then prompted to pay for a full license of the application in order to remove the threats. Ultimate System Guard is a rogue anti-spyware program, which purposely displays false scan results as a tactic to scare you into purchasing the program. When installed, Ultimate System Guard will be configured to automatically perform a scan when your computer starts. After finish the scan, it will state that your computer is infected by a variety of infections but will not remove any of them until you purchase the program. This is right their tactic to scare you into purchasing the program. While running, Ultimate System Guard will also display pop-ups on your desktop stating that your computer is infected or some malware has been detected. Of course, these alerts are false as well and their main purpose is to further scare you into thinking you are infected. As you can see, Ultimate System Guard was created to scam you out of your money rather than protect your computer away from spywares. Actually, it is a malware itself. So please be aware of Ultimate System Guard and remove it if it is already installed on your computer. |
