Adware:Adware (or spyware) is a small program that is designed to show advertisements (in various form and degrees of intrusiveness) on your computer. It often reports personal information back to its owners. As a result your sense of privacy can be violated. Probot is a commercial PC surveillance application that tracks user activity, records all keystrokes and captures screenshots. Gathered data can be encrypted and sent to a configurable e-mail address. Probot is not an actual spyware. However, all its functions can be easily used for malicious purposes, so the application is classified as malware. Probot comes with the uninstaller and must be manually installed. It runs on every Windows startup. |
