AntiToolbar is a rogue anti-spyware program which reports false infections and system security threats on a compromised computer. AntiToolbar is installed manually and may come bundled with other malware. AntiToolbar is a clone of PC AntiSpyWare 2010. Once installed, AntiToolbar will scan your computer and produce a list of fake infections. AntiToolbar will prompt you to pay for a full version of the malicious program in order to remove the infections which actually don't exist. Do not fall for AntiToolbar's trickery and have the rogue removed with an effective anti-spyware program. Anti Toolbar is a poor imitation of security app. It mimics computer scan and infection alerts. Some of the files reported by AntiToolbar as threats may actually exist on a computer, but Anti Toolbar lists legitimate files as dangerous. The strategy is supposed to intimidate victims into purchasing the program. |
