Searchforit is advertising software that is designed to display annoying pop-up and pop-under adverts. Searchforit usually installs itself through drive-by-downloads and other nefarious mechanisms. Once it is installed, Searchforit will launch each time you login to Windows. Then it will download and show hundreds of popup and pop-under ads. Ads will usually be for credit cards, dating sites and affiliate shopping sites. |
